Let me introduce the author of this section, a spiritual daughter, Robyn Sturgeon. She and her husband live in Delaware. She is an educator and was named teacher of the year in her home state. She has a passion for the next generation and a passion for Kingdom. This will be Part 1 of 4 as she shares her heart's response to her Kingdom overview.
"This is the generation of those who diligently seek Him and require Him as their greatest need..." Psalms 24:6
When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, He first directed them into sonship as He taught them to pray to our Father (Matthew 6:9). After addressing our Father and His holiness, He prayed, "Thy Kingdom come," and spent His time on earth teaching and displaying the Kingdom of God. In Luke 12:32, Jesus said, "Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom." He told us to seek HIS KINGDOM first, but what does that entail? We could unwrap it for days, years, or as mentioned in Psalms 145:13, "Thy Kingdom is an everlasting (never-ending) kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout ALL generations."
ACTION THOUGHTS:
Q: Do you feel you are prepared to live in this never ending Kingdom and what might that look like for you?
