WELCOME Y'ALL!!!!

'Hope you have a comfortable chair and an open heart cuz that's the posture I'd like to develop in your mind as you read this inaugural production of Kingdom Konnections. That's the posture of family gathering in the living room — to have conversation, build history and create a legacy. I mean, we DO have a legacy to carry on and we ARE family ya know. (Gal 6:10, John 14:2) I'd like to suggest we begin a family journey through this monthly jog....or blog....and restore our konnection.....to Father's image and intent.

There's a LOT goin' on in the world and change seems to be consistently on our plate. How do we deal with all that? Well, we come together as family and we sort through the issues and find our place. As a young girl, I recall gathering on the back porch with my family to work on preparing the produce for canning from dad's garden. We would talk “LIFE”. We did “LIFE”. It anchored me. We were family. Is it possible to recreate that kind of support system; safety, vulnerability, community, belonging, acceptance? From my generational view the cure for the out of control culture is simply, family......REAL family with a REAL Father. I SO long to share that kind of connection that warms the heart and I'm pretty sure — since we all have the same Father — if we will STOP long enough to develop life by HIS specs, we can become anchored through troubled waters.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Well, for cryin' out loud (as my mother used to say) WE HAVE A LOT TO UNPACK so let's get to unpackin'! How is this gonna roll out? You'll discover I love bullets. Why delay! Let's use them and it will give you a quick and precise overview going forward.

GOAL FOR KINGDOM KONNECTIONS: Gather God's family back to its royal position of heart life under Father's covering.

• MONTHLY: Each month, you will receive the Kingdom Konnections blog (that is IF you choose to receive it) that will obviously carry a Kingdom legacy thought to reunite us as a family (I Cor. 1:10)
  • DISCUSSION: There will be a couple thoughts to ponder at the end of each months narrative for you to develop your own group (i.e., family) and discuss what was shared. Multiplication is the goal here!
  • BRIEF AND TO THE POINT: Since I am not one who gravitates to lonnnnnnnnng videos or writings, my intent is to be short and sweet. Holy Spirit and you can work out a fill in the blank conversation for personal application and ownership
• GUESTS: Each blog will most likely, carry a Kingdom Konnection Guest segment that will also be short and to the point. They will bring a Kingdom thought, based on their view.
• INCLUDING THE GENERATIONS: From time to time, there will also be a Generational Kingdom Konnection slot composed of someone from the generation(s) coming along and they will share a thought from their view. Some will be spiritual sons and daughters who've joined me on the porch at some venture of my life.
• ONLINE MEETING: Eventually, if the demand is there, we will do a family meet online at THE PORCH, to enter into Kingdom discussions and questions

There ya have it. Easy - Peasy! No fuss - no mess. The intent is to serve up a family meal that is quick, full of nutrients and satisfying. If it doesn't go down well, that's okay too cuz it is opportunity for developing our digestive system in Kingdom dispensation; take a BIG drink of the Word and wash it down (Eph 5:26) by His prescription.
